The deputies of the local Congress from different benches agreed that they are concerned that the increases in densities will pass for San Pedro Garza García, because this would bring a collapse to mobility.
The PAN deputy representing electoral district 06 with head in the municipality of Sampetrino, said that there is a real concern of the neighbors about the problems in the roads, together with the eventual effects on other services.
"I think that, if we increase the densities in San Pedro, obviously mobility will be affected, but everything will also be disrupted, the issue of water, drainage, moving through the center of the Valley and other areas and making the call, there are many citizens who are worried," he said.
To an express question about whether a rain of injunctions against the brake on raising densities is expected, he said; "Well, it's going to come, it's going to come (a rain of amparos) for those who complied with those rights at the time, but that issue will be settled by the legal authorities of the municipality."
ABC Noticias published that the citizen consultation to reverse the increase in density in the Calzadas and Centrito Valle began just this week proposed by the administration to repeal the reforms to the Zoning and Land Use Regulations, approved during the term of former mayor Miguel Treviño.
The deputy of Movimiento Ciudadano, secretary of the Metropolitan Development Commission, Armando Víctor Gutiérrez, pointed out that the injunctions may come before the rights acquired by individuals in the past administration, in addition to the fact that citizens would face problems due to insufficient road infrastructure if densities were increased.
"The issue about which of the two parties is good is a bit ambiguous, without a doubt the voice of the city council will be raised, but we also believe that there are many points, although we must seek to impose what is best for all citizens," said the emecist.
Separately, the coordinator of the legislative fraction of Morena, Mario Soto, indicated that it should be considered that if these densities increase, they would be facing more traffic, in an area that already registers more and more traffic jams.
"It is not correct that they are building and building only because they are paying, there the issue has to be well analyzed and that the law is complied with, we have to pay attention to all the problems of mobility and urban planning, because then we have other major problems of mobility and infrastructure," said the Morena leader.
