With fourteen votes in favor, seven against and one abstention, the Cabildo of Cajeme approved Law number 76 related to various provisions regarding the Reform of the Judicial Power of the State of Sonora that Governor Alfonso Durazo sent to the State Congress.

In the development of the session, different points of view were expressed, on the one hand the members of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), defending the changes to the constitution arguing that for their knowledge socialization exercises and open parliament were carried out.

For their part, members of different political currents with a presence in the highest collegiate body, expressed themselves against it because they considered it tendentious and flawed from the beginning, however they recognized the need to reform the Judiciary and reiterated the need to dedicate more time to its study and analysis.

Within the framework of this meeting of the Cabildo, Adriana Torres, Armando Alcalá, Mirna López Valenzuela, Sara Piña and Jorge Rodríguez openly expressed themselves against the approval of the aforementioned law.

Finally, the vote was held, which was approved by a majority of the members of the Cajem council, for which only the vote of the official party was required.
